After learning about the staggering toll the flower industry has on the environment, It lead me TO CHANGE MY business APPROACH. TO work IN HARMONY WITH Mother Nature and reduce our carbon footprint.

As my children grow, one thing is crystal clear, my strong desire for a thriving planet. So, I've taken what I can control into my own hands by nurturing some of my own eco-friendly blooms. They call it 'slow flowers,' by working with the natural seasons from Spring to Autumn, and in my humble third year of cultivation, every petal has been a lesson learned.

By growing my own blooms and incorporating foliage and fauna from my property, not only is it a more sustainable practice but it gives me balance between work and mum life. This is my happy place, I have created a safe environment for my kids and I to play and work with no use of toxic sprays. All materials are either recycled or reused as much as possible and I compost most organic waste.

As you can imagine with very young children in tow, parenting takes priority over my time in the garden so I still have so much to learn. I will no doubt stumble along the way, potentially mistiming growth spurts or accidentally killing plants. But fear not, if my garden does experiences a lull, I'll tap into the abundance of other locally grown treasures to keep our community beautified in floral finery.
